About Me
Who am i
Hi, I’m Madison—a entrepreneur, marketing professional and creator. I’ve been building businesses for as long as I can remember, driven by a love for creativity, taking risks, and making an impact.
I launched my first business, Maddie’s Monkey Business, at age 6, selling handmade bracelets and picture frames.
At 8, I started an annual charity event for kids with cancer, raising over $25k.
I began my YouTube channel, originally HowToByJordan, in 2012 at age 13, sharing DIY, makeup, and how-to videos that have evolved with me into lifestyle, self-improvement, and fitness content.
I earned a degree in Business from Cal Poly, graduating in 2022.
Growing up in dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading, I still feel more at home upside down than right side up!
Quick Facts About Me
From Creative Spark to Entrepreneurial Mission
I started my first business at six, a nonprofit at eight, and my YouTube channel at thirteen. Big dreams never intimidated me; I’ve always been driven to make a difference. Seeing the impact my videos had on young girls—empowering and inspiring them—only strengthened my motivation.
Launching businesses in college and beyond sparked my passion for marketing and strengthened my commitment to entrepreneurship. As an entrepreneur, I get to shape my impact, and in marketing, I have the freedom to be fully creative and drive meaningful change.
My rule is simple: if something scares me, I run toward it. This mindset led me to solo backpack in Australia, grow my YouTube channel to nearly 30 million views, and create impactful businesses. Embracing fear fuels my growth and deepens my purpose. My goal is to help build a world that values individuality, drives impact, and lives with courage and intention.
